Chabura Spotlight: Jake Greenberg

NCSY Kollel July 27, 2021

Jake Greenberg is currently enjoying his first summer on NCSY Kollel. He attended HAFTR and Sha’alvim and is currently in Yeshiva University. This is Jake’s first year as a Madrich.

Jake’s chabura includes some of the best guys around: Shlomo Freundlich from Montreal (Hebrew Academy of Montreal), Elisha Kupperman from Los Angeles (MBY), Yaakov Malk from Los Angeles (YULA), Mordechai Fishof from Los Angeles (MBY), Tal Levy from Montreal (Hebrew Academy of Montreal), and David Abraham from Los Angeles (YULA).

This summer, Jake’s chabura will be focusing on Inyanim of the fourth Perek of Maseches Brachos. They will be learning about a variety of topics, including Zerizin Makdimin L’Mitzvos, Maariv’s status Reshus or Chova, the source of davening, and much, much more. The goal of the learning is to cultivate a greater appreciation for the beauty and fun of Torah learning, while also forming a family with all of the members of the Chaburah.

The summer has been great so far and it should only get better from here!
