Rafi Kreitman is currently enjoying his first summer on NCSY Kollel. He attended TABC and Sha’alvim and is currently entering his Junior year at YU. This is Rafi’s first year as a Madrich.
Rafi’s chabura includes some of the best guys around: Akiva Gelernter from Bergenfield (MTA), Netanel Fruchter from Cedarhurst (DRS), Michael Wald from Newton, MA (Maimonides), Dovid Gopin from Bergenfield (TABC), Aryeh Cywiak from Woodmere (DRS), and Tzvi Shor from Bergenfield (MTA).
This summer, Rafi’s chabura will be focusing on the topics of Torah, Avodah and Gemilus Chasadim. We use these general topics as a framework to learn some subtopics of each of these categories. They will be learning about a variety of topics including Torah Lishma, Davening from a smartphone, the power of Tefila and why there is no bracha on the mitzvah of giving tzedaka, and much, much more. The goal of the learning is to gain a better understanding of very practical topics that can affect our everyday lives while becoming close as a group and having a great time.
All of this has combined for what continues to be an incredible summer!
