Chaburah Spotlight- Zachary Fish

NCSY Kollel August 5, 2019

Zachary Fish is 20 years old and is currently enjoying his 5th summer on NCSY Kollel. He attended MTA and Hakotel and is currently planning to attend YU this upcoming year. This is Zach’s first year as a Madrich.

Zach’s Chaburah is made up of 4 of the best guys around: Judah Chesir from Edison (JEC); Donny Hess from Linden (JEC); Benny Gluck from Hillside (JEC); and Isaac Melman from Bala Cynwyd (Kohelet).

This summer, Zach’s chaburah will be focusing on mitzvot that we do every day, that may become underappreciated because they can become so routine. They will be learning about a variety of topics including Tzitzit, Tefillin, Netilas Yadayim, Berachos, Tefilla , and much, much more. The goal of the learning is to appreciate how much potential there is every single day to truly connect to Hashem, and that a “normal/boring” day could be a day that is extremely meaningful if we just focus on what we are doing.

The summer has been great so far and it should only get better from here!
