Chabura Spotlight: Ari Needle

NCSY Kollel August 1, 2023

Ari Needle is from Passaic, NJ and attended TABC for high school followed by 2 years at Yeshivat Sha’alvim. Ari just finished his first year in Yeshiva University. This is Ari’s fourth summer in Beit Meir as part of The NCSY Summer Kollel, and his second as a madrich.

Ari’s chabura consists of some of the finest guys from around the globe. First, there’s Aryeh Rabinovich, an international superstar and aspiring pilot from Ottawa, Canada. Aryeh attends the Yeshiva High School of Ottawa. Next, we have the exciting 2 on 2 battle between representatives from South and North Jersey. From Edison, NJ, we have Yehuda Hersh and Eytan Berg representing the JEC Thunder, while from Bergenfield, NJ, we have Akiva Sytner and Daniel Lechter representing the TABC Storm.

Ari’s chabura this summer is going through the order of a day for a Jew, discussing the practical advice and the sugya’s that make up our day. The chabura plans on covering many of the aspects of the day starting from waking up in the morning and reciting Modeh Ani until the moments before going to sleep. The chabura’s objective is to comprehend and forge connections with the mitzvos encountered in each day.

The summer has already been a blast with so much fun and inspiration, and we can’t wait to see what else we accomplish throughout the next few weeks!
