Hailing from Teaneck, NJ, Jonathan Comet is an alumni of Yeshivas Frisch and Yeshivat Hakotel, and is entering his second year in YU this coming year. It’s his first year on Kollel and since he was blessed to be given a chabura of 6 All Stars, he’s really loving it!!
First, from the Upper West is MTA’s Akiva Levine, who’s brilliance and quick thinking keeps everyone on their toes. From the Five Towns we have Dani Posner and Avraham Steinberg, who both attend DRS. They came in with a strong, healthy friendship while looking to branch out as well. Next is the heart and soul of the Chabura, Eli Kroll from Riverdale, NY, who goes to SAR High School. He’s the biggest 2048 fan we’ve ever seen, and knows how to lock in for learning whenever necessary. Lastly we have another strong duo from Valley Village in LA. The YULA boys, Aharon Cooper and Nate Gottesman, are always exhilarating to be around. Nate knows exactly what to say to keep us all on edge, and we appreciate Aharon’s loving attempts to reel him back in.
This summer we’re learning different Mekoros pertaining to Torah, Avoda, and Gemilus Chasadim. We first focused on our personal relationship to Torah, then moved on to our relationship with Hashem, and lastly our relationships with ourselves, family, and friends. We do a lot of reflection and discussion in this Chabura, and the chevra always has a lot to say!! We look forward to any form of free food, outdoor adventures, and day dreaming about chabura trips! This summer has been amazing so far, and it should only keep improving!!
