Kenny Rosenfeld, a native of the Five Towns, is savoring his third summer at NCSY Kollel, surrounded by an incredible group of guys. As a former talmid of DRS and Sha’alvim, currently studying at Yeshiva University, Kenny now serves as the Madrich for the second consecutive year.
In his dynamic Chaburah, Kenny has a wonderful mix of personalities that keep the group vibrant and engaged. Moshe Farkas from the Five Towns (MAY), with his infectious humor, keeps everyone laughing and in high spirits. Chesky Singer from Far Rockaway (MAY) is always deeply engaged, demonstrating a genuine passion for learning. Moshe Baron from the Five Towns (Netzach) is known as “The Baller” for his impressive basketball skills and competitive spirit. Binny Szlafrok (DRS) from the Five Towns consistently offers unique and thought-provoking answers, adding a refreshing perspective to their discussions. Akiva Krasnovsky from the Five Towns (MAY), known as “The Singer,” has a melodious voice that uplifts the entire Chaburah. And last but not least, Kalman Singer from the Five Towns (DRS), always strives to brighten up the room with his positive energy and cheerful demeanor.
Their Chaburah sessions are dedicated to studying famous sugyas and delving into their Avodas Hashem, seeking to understand the meaning behind their actions when serving Hashem and growing in their middos.
The “Burah’s” accomplishments aren’t just limited to sports; they have also experienced significant personal growth during their time together. Kenny’s Chaburah is a remarkable and harmonious group, and their strong bond and shared pursuit of spiritual development promise an unforgettable summer of growth and friendship.
